List of Works

The Cranial Tyro (real name pronounced “Kell Williams” for an Americanized sound, or “Shell Williams” for the Swedish-inclined), has been the author of several works of fiction. Sadly, only some of them have been published. He has chosen to archive a publication history of his stories here, so that those who enjoy the fictionalized version of his life might get a chance to read even better (he hopes) works of fiction.

  • Life at the Edge of Nowhere,” the Tyro’s first accepted short story, published in Electric Velocipede issue 19. It runs around 5,500 words or so. He likes to think of it as a mildly-literary science fiction story about a man struggling to keep hope alive in a world that seems hopelessly lost. Or, alternatively, it’s about a guy who finds Life in the ruins where there shouldn’t be any.

According to Sam Tomaino at SFRevu.com, in his review of EV Issue 19, it’s “a well-written tale of redemption.”

  • Warden,” the Tyro’s first published short story, appeared in the April, 2009 issue of Atomjack Magazine. Though Atomjack is now closed, ”Warden” can still be read here.
