Who Am I?
In a nutshell:
I’m a writer with a modicum of talent and even less financial prospects, writing about his life in the third person because 1) I think it’s fun, 2) it’s one of the easiest ways I can practice my craft when I don’t have the time to write other stuff, or just need a break from it, and 3) you (or somebody else, most likely) might actually enjoy it. I’ve got a few short stories under my belt, an idea for a few novels kicking around in my head, and virtually no writing credits to speak of. I suppose this blog might count for something to somebody interested in knowing what kind of quality I put out–assuming the manuscript you rejected with a ten-word form letter wasn’t enough, of course. (Actually, I’ve got a story accepted, and I’ve had some really awesome rejection letters, too. I’ll throw up a list of works page for you to take a gander at if you’re interested. . . one of these days.)
Anyhow, I’m also a husband, an animal rescuer (more like her assistant, of course), an Account Manager/delivery boy/repo-man, and all-around swell guy.
The rest of me will have to be discovered by reading the (highly?) fictionalized renditions of my life. . .
